Prunella's Summer

My summer this year was pretty boring, I went off island to the Philippines but did not get to do much. I was gone for about three weeks, three days in Manila and the rest of the time in the province of La Union. While I was in the Philippines I got to do a little shopping, a little sight-seeing and went to a wedding. My stepmom's family and I went on a 2-day drive around the Philippines, on this drive, we stopped by some sand dunes for some off road driving, that was probably the most fun I had the entire trip. On our way back to our house I did get sick so I was not happy anymore. Finally,we got back home and I did what I usually do. I laid in bed, watching T.V. I only got out of my room for food and to do any necessary things. That was pretty much the rest of my time in the Philippines. Then I came back home to Saipan. When I got back I started volunteering at the school almost every day. I met up with my friends a few times and just relaxed before school started. This was my summer of 2016.
